Recipes: A low-sugar crumble that supports gut health
Try this hearty and homely fruit crumble from health gurus Alana and Lisa Macfarlane of The Gut Stuff. The perfect end to a Sunday roast
Serves 4-6
* 4 apples (skin on), roughly chopped
* 1 pear (skin on), roughly chopped
* 100ml water
* 100g rolled oats
* 1 tsp ground cinnamon
* 1 tbsp maple syrup
* 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
* Milk kefir yoghurt or dairy-free alternative, to serve
Leftover crumble can be stored in the fridge for up to three days and reheated before serving.
