We are always looking for good writers and experts at Psychologies.

We commission at least 3 features a month plus are always looking for good, credible experts to write blogs for us on our Life Labs platform and to interview for our monthly dossiers.

What we want:

Please read the magazine to get an idea of tone.

Make articles specific versus general, deep versus shallow.

We commission articles on the subjects of work/career, relationships (romantic, family, friends), sex, and wellness and self-development

Style:

Honest writing where a journalist or writer goes on a journey to discover some deeper wisdom.

Beautiful, lyrical writing about journeys of emotional transformation.

How to pitch:

Send a headline, a short description of the piece, with the angle youโ€™d like to take

We do accept pitches from non-published writers but we will ask you to write on spec. (A fee wonโ€™t be paid if not accepted.)

If youโ€™re an established writer, we would love to see your cuttings so send those with your first pitch.

You will be commissioned on an โ€˜all rightsโ€™ basis.There is no fee paid to our Life Labs experts as your blog allows you to raise your profile with our readers.
