We are always looking for good writers and experts at Psychologies.
We commission at least 3 features a month plus are always looking for good, credible experts to write blogs for us on our Life Labs platform and to interview for our monthly dossiers.
What we want:
Please read the magazine to get an idea of tone.
Make articles specific versus general, deep versus shallow.
We commission articles on the subjects of work/career, relationships (romantic, family, friends), sex, and wellness and self-development
Style:
Honest writing where a journalist or writer goes on a journey to discover some deeper wisdom.
Beautiful, lyrical writing about journeys of emotional transformation.
How to pitch:
Send a headline, a short description of the piece, with the angle youโd like to take
We do accept pitches from non-published writers but we will ask you to write on spec. (A fee wonโt be paid if not accepted.)
If youโre an established writer, we would love to see your cuttings so send those with your first pitch.
You will be commissioned on an โall rightsโ basis.There is no fee paid to our Life Labs experts as your blog allows you to raise your profile with our readers.
